Marina Heredia has won the award for Best Flamenco Album Sing 2010

| Marina Heredia has won the award for Best Flamenco Album Song 2010 by her third album, "Marina" (2010), awarded by the National Critics Awards Flamenco in "Flamenco Hoy ". Marina Heredia has come out victorious in his other two finalists, Enrique Morente, a finalist for their album "Morente + Flamenco" and Fernando Earthquake for his work "Fernando Earthquake", both sadly deceased. Of 62 votes, Marina Heredia has been a total of 58 votes. | "If flamenco is related to the Roma, the Abbey of the Holy Mount of Granada, site of the Sacromonte Songbook concert, organized by the Festival, is linked to the modern history of Roma families who lived in the neighborhood of Granada ..." So begins the presentation by Juan Sánchez Ocaña, abbot of the Abbey of Sacromonte, writes on the occasion of this unique show that will be released on Sunday July 5 in the Festival of Music and Dance.
In collaboration with the Festival of Music and Dance of Granada, the singer Marina Heredia a show that will travel the musical heritage of Christians, Moors and Gypsies seated in the Sacromonte from the time of the Reconquista and old songs until early zambras twentieth century and Sale Zoraida, landmark meeting place for artists ... It is not the first collaboration with the Festival Marina, nor his first approach to the origins of flamenco ... If presented in the previous edition-existence, a show about the strong link between the flamenco and Arab music-garnathi which garnered the highest critical acclaim, with "Song of Sacromonte" wanted to pay explicit homage to flamenco from Granada. To do this, Marina, coming from a Gypsy family more artistic tradition of Granada, has sought to surround themselves so that their addition to the great guitars of Miguel Ochando (special collaboration) and its inseparable José Quevedo 'El Bola' and Luis Mariano, count as tradition dictates, with the support of the undisputed voice of his father, Jaime Heredia "el Parrón" and its cousin, the dancer Jara Heredia.
